
Taegan Young
Role: Project Leader
Taegan graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Hearing and Speech Science in 2010, and went on to complete a Master of Clinical Audiology at Macquarie University in 2012. Before transferring to NAL, she spent three years in the clinic, working with adults and children in Newcastle, NSW.
At NAL, Taegan is part of the Central Auditory Processing Disorders (CAPD) Team looking for new ways to diagnose and treat the different types of CAPD. She also has an interest in improving audiology in the developing world, and has completed research in rural and urban areas of the Philippines.
Recently, Taegan has taken over from Helen Glyde as project leader of the Bilateral Aiding and Binaural Interference (BABI) Study.
