Spatial release from masking in hearing impaired listeners with hearing aids
PhD Project
Baljeet’s PhD research is focused on spatial release from masking (SRM) in hearing impaired listeners with hearing aids, under the supervision of Dr Jorg Buchholz and A/Prof Harvey Dillon. His PhD thesis would investigate the effect of audibility on SRM and then apply the results to improve SRM in hearing impaired subjects by optimising bilateral hearing aid amplification.
