Dr Teresa Y.C. Ching, PSM is a Senior Research Scientist at the National Acoustic Laboratories in Australia.

In previous years, Teresa had held faculty appointments at the University of London and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and research fellowships at Macquarie University and the University of Newcastle. Her major research interests include amplification requirements of children and adults, speech intelligibility and psychoacoustic abilities of people with hearing impairment, evaluation of amplification for children, bimodal hearing and bilateral cochlear implantation for children. 

Dr Ching is currently leading a population-based study that examines the longitudinal outcomes of children with hearing impairment.
