Dr Mehrnaz Shoushtarian

Role: Research Program Coordinator

    Mehrnaz Shoushtarian graduated with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Monash University. Her PhD work contributed to the emerging development of electrovestibulography as a novel vestibular diagnostic tool. She then worked as a research fellow on identifying cerebral electrical potentials and waveforms in the control of human gait using electroencephalography and three-dimensional gait analysis.

    In addition to her role at the HEARing CRC, Mehrnaz is also working at Cortical Dynamics, a medical device company focused on developing brain function monitors by employing the latest theories and technologies to the field.
