Biography

John M Heasman received the B.E. Degree in Electrical and Information Systems Engineering from the University of Sydney, NSW, Australia, in 1996.  From 1997 to 2001, he worked towards a PhD in biomedical engineering within the Quadriplegic Hand Research Unit located at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. 

Since 2002, John has worked within the Research and Applications (R&A) department of Cochlear Ltd.  John is involved with the management, development and validation of research internal and external to Research and Applications.  John's  experience includes implant failure analysis, audio and cochlear implant signal processing and clinical validations.
